DR. HEATHER PRICE

Heather is a Professor of Psychology and Canada Research Chair in Children and the Law at Thompson Rivers University.


She conducts research and training across Canada with police and social workers on investigative interviewing of children and memory evidence in the justice system.


Heather has published more than 60 peer-reviewed research papers on investigative interviewing, children's memory for instances of repeated events, eyewitness identifications, and judgments of children's credibility.

MR. WAYNE THOMAS

Wayne spent over three decades working in the realm of investigative interviewing.


He began his career as a UK police detective, specialising in the investigation of serious and organised crime and covert policing methods. He was also a UK government intelligence officer working in counterterrorism investigations worldwide.


Wayne now spends his time teaching the psychology of interviewing to numerous groups and police departments worldwide, including the High Value Detainee Interrogation Group and the International Criminal Court in the Hague.

DR. KIRK LUTHER

Kirk is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Carleton University.

He previously worked with Lancaster University as an Assistant Professor in Investigative Expertise, and was a member of the Centre for Research and Evidence on Security Threats (CREST) and Security Lancaster.

Kirk has over 20 publications in the area of investigative interviewing, and over 10 years experience conducting interview training.
